THE 'C' WORD More than two years after the President found himself in hot water for describing the war on terror as a "crusade," the Bush camp is using the 'c word' in a fundraising letter to supporters, Atrios notices. (As in, the President has been, "leading a global crusade against terrorism.")

Haven't they learned anything? you might ask.

But of course they have: They've learned that making coded religious appeals to their right-wing base is a sure-fire way to boost fundraising totals.
