According to Ryan Lizza "[Dean Campaign Manager Joe] Trippi has the name and address of every Iowan he believes will caucus for Dean. He has a guess at what total turnout will be. Given those two variables, he's fairly certain Dean will win." From a Sunday post on The New Republic online.
